While in Shanghai on a language exchange program, I decided to document my peers and I's experiences while exploring the city. I absolutely loved immersing myself in the culture of Shanghai, with its juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary architecture and design, and of course its amazing 小笼包!

One challenge of this project was the constraint of limited filming equipment - I only had my smartphone on me.

I overcame this obstacle by ensuring my phone was level and touching up any stabilisation issues in the editing room. Along with this, I expanded my knowledge of shot composition and key-frame animation - seen in the montages and masked character callouts and texts.
